Inclement Weather Information

It is advisable for parents to make the final decision on safe travel conditions for your child. On days when the driving conditions are potentially dangerous, we encourage parents to send your child to school via the school bus. While student drivers are taken into account on days when the driving conditions are poor, student drivers are not the only factor considered. As with driving, parents are encouraged to determine if the outside weather conditions are too cold for their child. While the District strives to make the best decision it can for all students, there may be times when a parent needs to make the final decision on their child’s attendance on a particular day.
