School Day at The K was an exciting mix of baseball and learning as thousands of students visited Kauffman Stadium to watch the Kansas City Royals take on the Cleveland Guardians. The annual event turned the ballpark into a giant classroom filled with educational fun and STEM activities.
This year’s School Day focused heavily on STEM learning, especially space science. Students participated in hands-on activities, science demonstrations, and interactive exhibits before the game. Special guests included astronaut Dr. Sian Proctor, who encouraged students to explore careers in science and space exploration. Organizations like Science City and the Cosmosphere also helped bring STEM lessons to life with experiments and displays.
After the educational activities, students enjoyed the baseball game between the Royals and Guardians. The Guardians defeated the Royals 8–5 in an action-packed matchup at The K.
