Dear parents, patrons, and students, due to an unforeseen event the teacher workshop scheduled for February 3rd has been rescheduled to Monday, March 6th. Therefore, February 3 will be a full day of school and Monday, March 6 will be a half-day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Thank you.

Parents we want to make you aware that a student in the lower elementary has been diagnosed with the Hand, Foot, Mouth virus. It is a common childhood illness. Symptoms may include sores in or around the mouth, a rash on the hands/feet, fever, sore throat, irritability, and a loss of appetite. Please watch your child for symptoms and keep them home if needed. Thank you. (Nurse Sue)

The BPH basketball games scheduled for Thursday, January 19 at Chilhowee has been postponed due to circumstances at Chilhowee High School. The tentative make-up date will be February 16 at Chilhowee starting at 6:00.

BPH basketball plays at Bunceton Tuesday, January 17 starting with the JVG at 5:00. It will be a three game night with the Varsity Girls at 6:00 and Varsity Boys to close the evening at 7:30.

The BPH Junior Varsity Girls game scheduled for tomorrow has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 12 and will start at 5:00 in Prairie Home. The bus will leave at 3:15 so a walk-through practice can be held before the game.

A town hall meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, January 22 at the conclusion of the elementary basketball games, to discuss the possibility of switching to a four-day school week. The meeting will start at approximately 5:15 PM in the School Commons. The Bunceton R-IV community is encouraged to attend and feel free to be part of the discussion.
