Art club will be hosting a community pizza paint night on Wednesday Nov. 19th at 5:30 pm. Cost is $15 for adults and $10 for students. Food, drink, and supplies all included. Huge congratulations are in order for soon-to-be graduating senior, Addison Ray, for officially signing to the University of Omaha Mavericks softball team! We send all of our best thoughts and encouragement with her as she moves into her college career next year.
Yesterday, we honored our veterans through food, song, and inspiration. Our speaker was Spc. Sierra Mitchell (Army) who reminded us that. "Courage isn't the absence of fear or pain; it's finding your voice when everything in you wants to go silent."

Major Hopkins and Sgt. Major Gladbach, from BTech JROTC, visited the high school to give them teamwork exercises. They stressed the importance of working with each now and in the future when they would encounter people of many different cultures.

The Council for Drug Free Youth spoke to upper-grade students at Cooper County R-IV School as part of Red Ribbon Week festivities. Students learned important information about the dangers and health risks associated with vaping.

The junior high girls Lady Dragons basketball team won the consolation trophy in the Show-Me Central Conference tournament, beating Tuscumbia 19-17 in Overtime. Way to go, girls.
