With the ending of the BPH Co-op, the district is making plans for the 24-25 school year. The board and administration would like to make decisions that reflect our BUNCETON community members' input. The Title 1 Reading Family Fun Night will be tonight, Tuesday March 26, from 5:30-6:30 We will start eating at 6:30. A Special Session Board Meeting will also be held tonight starting at 6:30 concerning the Athletic Co-op and plans moving forward.

Congratulations to the Bunceton Archery team! They met the criteria to qualify for the state competition in Branson Missouri. Good luck archers!

Last night, the Prairie Home school board voted to dissolve the BPH co-op agreement for all extracurricular activities. Please be assured that we are exploring our options and will be working diligently to provide the best opportunities for our Bunceton athletes! We will keep you updated as the process unfolds. Attention Bunceton Alumni!!! Rachel Walker, RootEd Advisor, is looking for Bunceton Alumni volunteers that would like to come to a career day at school. The goal of this event is for students to see successful alumni to spark motivation. Working with students daily, I hear students doubting their ability to do big things because they are from a small rural community. Below is the careers students are interested in at this time: Nursing Human Resources Ultrasound Tech Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy Dermatologist Law Enforcement Agriculture/ Animal Science jobs Welding Artist Computer Tech Teaching Tattoo Artist Heavy Diesel Mechanic Insurance Banking Vet Farming If you are interested and do not work in one of the careers listed above, you are still welcome to come share your career with students, as they may not know about that career option. The BPH Boys Basketball Season ended this afternoon losing to Green City 71-58. The boys were State Quarterfinalists which meant they were one of the eight teams remaining. A lot of teams throughout the state would like to be in that position. Congratulations on a great season!

Bunceton Archery Club traveled to Eldon this morning, Saturday March 2. Senior Archer, Ben Wieland shot not only his second Perfect Round of 50 this season, he also scored a 289 to become Bunceton School All-Time Record Holder! Ben shot twenty 10's on his Career High day. Congratulations to Ben Wieland.

The BPH Boys Class 1 Sectional 5 Basketball game versus Sacred Heart will be played at Bunceton, Tuesday, February 27 starting at 6:00. Doors will open at 5:00. Admittance to the game is only through digital ticketing at the MSHSAA website. No cash will be taken at the door. The game will only be livestream through MSHSAA TV in which there is a pay per view charge. Visit www.mshsaa.org for more information.

BPH boys wins a District Championship this afternoon defeating Higbee 71-63. Congratulations!!

Bunceton Homecoming 2024 is tonight, February 16. The BPH Girls game will start at 5:30. An Elementary Dance routine will take place between games, and the Varsity Cheerleaders will perform at halftime of the boys game. Coronation activities will take place at the conclusion of the boys game. The Homecoming Dance will close out the evening. Should be a fun night of entertainment and reminiscing for all. Please come join us.

Homecoming at Prairie Home is tomorrow, Friday, February 9. The evening will start with the BPH Girls playing at 5:00!

BPH Basketball travels to Community R-6 in Laddonia tonight, January 29, starting at 6:30. The bus will leave Bunceton at 3:30 and Prairie Home at 3:45.

BPH Girls beat Calvary Lutheran 59-47 tonight at Prairie Home.

The BPH basketball games scheduled for tonight, Jan 23, will be played as scheduled at Prairie Home. The girls game will start at 6:00 with the boys to follow.

The Booster Club is having a meeting Wednesday, January 24th in the Commons at 6:00, to discuss Homecoming (Feb 16) and Senior Night (Feb 7). Everyone is invited to attend and urged to bring your creative ideas with you. The theme for Homecoming is "Carnival"
